Mindfulness: a powerful and effective system of self-observation that allows a person to create space and ease around painful triggers.
Somatic Experience: a bodymind system of healing trauma. Chronic pain is a form of trauma where the “attack” comes from within the body. Somatic Experience is effective in teaching people how to regulate their reaction to pain sensory awareness.
Energy Psychology: Emotional Freedom Technique combines mental focus and acupressure stimulation to reduce or eliminate conditioned perceptions of physical pain and the impact of traumatic experiences.
What Will I learn?: You will learn how to change your experiences for the better and will build effective personal skills to serve you for a lifetime.
When?: 6 Wednesdays, starting Feb 25, 2009 (Afternoon & Evening sessions)
Requirements: Classes of 10-12 people will be informative, fun and most of all productive.
The only requirement is willingness to participate and practice the skills.
